A measles outbreak has been reported across Bangladesh, including the Dhaka region, as of late April 2026. The outbreak affects an area of approximately 500 kilometers and is currently active.

If you are on site, be aware that measles spreads through respiratory droplets and can affect unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals. Symptoms typically appear within 10 to 14 days of exposure. Monitor yourself for any signs of illness and seek medical attention promptly if symptoms develop.
