Heatwave — Wakayama

Wakayama is experiencing a heat stroke alert due to extreme heat conditions. The wet bulb globe temperature has reached 34 degrees, creating dangerous conditions across an area of approximately 45 kilometres. The alert is active and expected to last until 28 August 2026 at 15:00 UTC.

If you are on site, take this alert seriously. Prolonged exposure to these temperatures significantly increases the risk of heat-related illness. Limit outdoor activities, especially during peak heat hours, and stay in air-conditioned or shaded environments whenever possible.
